After living in the UK for almost 12 years, Candace decided to pack up her family and return home to South Africa

Candace has been in this industry for over a decade and she has a passion for delivering memorable events for Mkono’s clients. She founded this company to provide the wedding and corporate event industry in Cape Town with exceptional event experiences.

Considering our name (Mkono) means “hand” in Swahili, our company ethos is to collaborate with other local suppliers and artisans, remaining truly local. We also want to give all our clients a guiding hand through the event planning process.
